Colombo Americano

Centro Colombo Americano was created in 1943 in Bogota because of the growing diplomatic relations between the US and Colombia. This school offers spaces of cultural exchanges to students and citizens of the main cities of Colombia. I worked for one year and three months in one of its headquarters located in Medellin, teaching English to students of economy and business administration.

One of my most significant accomplishments at this company was to help my students improve their speaking and writing skills at a rate of 70% compared to the proficiency of their abilities when they started the course. At the end of the semesters, I felt delighted to see how good their final projects were and how hard they worked on them. It was worth it to teach my lessons in an unusual schedule (Saturdays at 6:00 am) to help them to overcome their difficulties during the course and achieve their goals.
